Melbourne Complex Cardiac Intervention Centre exists so patients with complex coronary disease can access specialist interventional care without leaving Victoria.
Our mission
We are a dedicated Melbourne centre for complex coronary intervention. Our focus is CTO PCI, calcified and high-risk lesions, and imaging-guided stenting — procedures that require specialised expertise beyond general cardiology.
Why we exist
Many patients live with debilitating angina after being told their arteries are “too blocked” or that bypass is the only option. Others face long public waiting lists and little choice over who treats them.
